There has been a further development in this odd case; checking my mail this afternoon (14/4) I noticed that the floor immediately outside my apartment (162 High Street DY9 8LT)), including the doormat, had been given another soaking! It would appear, that this latest 'attack' had come from the direction of 161's door, suggesting that either Carol or Colin was making this 'statement'. Now Carole is canophillic, keeping a dog herself, in a flat, at one time in her history and so sympathises with Philip in 157, defending his habit and quite liking his repulsive hound! She has been very vocal in his defence  (suggesting that I smell to a greater degree than Frothy's dog!) with the sudden collapse in good relations influenced, possibly, by my reluctance to help-out, recently, when Colin was flat-out on the floor of 161.

Now I originally suggested that Philip was responsible for the initial soaking of the entrance to my apartment, with no 'reasonable doubt', but this new evidence does cast a little doubt on my claim; this dispute between neighbours, with Carole now involved, might also explain the recent spate of banging and crashing!

We are embroiled in a pandemic, so apologies that more time on this case is requested; indeed, it's somewhat pathetic that this case involves a dispute between two neighbours of the same age, the same gender and even the same hue! Pathetic, perhaps, but at the centre of this affair is a dog, with The Dog, being responsible for this bizarre allowance of 'public exercise', the lengthening of the  current crisis, an increase in infections and the greater loss of lives. The Dog has, in my view, before this epidemic, prevented forward societal progress, with negative effects on crime and anti-social behaviour.
